We Make Valve Automation Easy

1) Air enters through the NPT inlet port.
2) Air travels down and around the element in a cyclonic fashion. The centrifugal forces cause moisture and contaminents to be forced outwards and collect on the inner surface of the bowl, then fall down to the bottom.
3) The air reverses direction and goes back upward through the element media.
4) The stainless steel mesh has a striated surface that efficiently holds aerosols and liquid droplets, which then fall into the drain area. Filtration to 3.0 micron.
5) The next filter media, is composed of interwoven cotton, polyester, and stainless steel. This media captures excess sub-micron water droplets. Cotton holds the water particles & allows them to re-enter the air stream as harmless vapor. Filtration to 1.0 micron.
6) After passing through the media layers while traveling upward through the element, the air enters the head of the 1st filter and the clean, dry air travels to the 2nd filter through a small pipe nipple.
7) The air travels through the 2nd filter in the same cyclonic fashion down around the element. Then it again reverses flow to travle back upwards through the coalescing element, to the head of the 2nd filter.
8) Clean, dry, oil-free air exits the filter assembly through the NPT outlet of the 2nd filter head.
