Description

Assured Automation’s BFY Series is a sanitary butterfly valve constructed of 316 stainless steel, available with tri-clamp or butt weld end connections for sanitary tubing. Manual version equipped with a 304 SS manual handle with a 13-position locking device. Automated version available with pneumatic or electric actuators. Accessories available include limit switches, solenoids and positioners.

The BFY Series is ideal for use in dairy, food, flavor, fragrance, wine and brewing applications.

ASTM 316L grade stainless steel body
Valve materials, interior finish, and dimensions comply with 3A, FDA, and USDA requirements
316L mirror finish disc provides an even flow preventing obstructions and restrictions
Opposing body bolt design prevents loosening between body sections due to vibration and operation, and provides positive sealing
Bolting is flush with body surface
FDA approved available options: silicone, EPDM and VITON®
13-position, 304SS, spring loaded lever lock handle
