Pulse Output is a dry contact reed switch that closes when a magnet attatched to one of the dial needles passes under it. They are attached to the face of the register simply with one screw. There are 2 holes on the register that pegs go into assuring proper placement. there is a 5', 2-conductor wire (thermostat wire) attached to the switch that goes to your pulse counter, PLC, or HMI. They are available in single (one pulse per rotation of needle) or dual (two pulses per rotation). They come pre-installed on the meter.

Upgrade to Lead Free Brass Couplings: (recommended for installation into copper pipe)

Add a set of Brass Couplings:

If you are installing the meter into a copper pipe, it is recommended that you upgrade to brass couplings. This includes 2 Lead Free Brass threaded stubs that replace the plastic stubs that come with the meter.
THE PLASTIC COLLAR NUT IS STILL USED.

Check Valve:

Include a Check Valve:

A Check Valve (also called a Backflow Preventer) will prevent the backward flow of fluid through the meter. This ensures that no backwards flow will deduct from the meter. It also protects the meter and upstream water from any contamination from additives like fertilizer that are introduced downstream from the meter. These Check valves are NPT (female x female) and are the same line size as the meter. They ship loose, and must be installed inline, downstream from the meter. You may install it directly on the meter outlet.

Garden Hose Adapters:

Garden Hose Adapters Only Available on 1/2" and 3/4" sizes

Description:

Set of one Female NPT x Female GH fitting and one Female NPT x Male GH which allow inline installation into any garden hose or garden hose spigot.

IMPORTANT: Meter must remain horizontal with the register facing upwards to maintain accuracy.

Measure water usage from your garden hose to monitor garden watering, pool or pond filling, washing machines, and a variety of other applications. In addition, it essentially turns any of the WM Series Water Meters into Portable water meters that can be easily attached and detached to any garden hose or hose spigot.
