When the standard FireChek® valve does not vent the air fast enough for a quick return to the failsafe position, it can be combined with a quick exhaust valve that increases the exhaust Cv significantly.
Installation
FireChek® valves with Quick Exhaust install easily between the pneumatic supply and spring return actuator via 1/4" NPT threaded connections.

Normal Operation
Air flows through FireChek® Valve and into the spring return actuator.
Emergency Operation
Air supply is cut off by the
FireChek® Valve and
Quick Exhaust valve diverts exhaust through
exhaust port which is larger than the inlet.
