PFA Lined Butterfly Valve Description

The XLD Series are PFA lined (up to 12") and PTFE lined (14" to 24") butterfly valves. The body is epoxy coated ductile iron (non-wetted). They are available with Wafer style or Lug style 150# ANSI flange connections. They can be equipped with a manual lever or can be actuated with electric or pneumatic actuators. A full range of accessory items are available including limit switches, solenoid valves, positioners and manual override devices.

Blow-out proof shaft design for additional operator safety
Extended body and disc liner above the shaft seals provide optimum protection of the O ring shaft seals from corrosive media
PTFE atmospheric seal protects internal components from atmospheric corrosion and provides locating ring for actuator mounting
Fully encapsulated bottom shaft eliminates potential leak path at bottom of valve and eliminates the necessity for further sealing elements
