The Assured Automation\u00ae FM Fire-Safe Thermal and Electro-Thermal ball valve and butterfly valve assemblies<\/a> are designed to shut off automatically and control hazardous conditions. The ball valve and butterfly valve assemblies are Factory Mutual (FM) approved. The heat actuated, FM & U.L. listed thermal links automatically shut off or open the valve at predetermined temperatures. A unique, removable handle allows the valve to be manually operated at any time without affecting the fusible links.<\/p>\n

Flanged Ball Valve Assembly<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Assured Automation’s FM Fire-Safe Thermal and Electro-Thermal ball valve and butterfly valve assemblies<\/a> are designed to spring a valve to a designated position (open or closed) during an upset condition such as fire. Valves are mounted with a spring canister and thermal link.  The thermal link will melt at a predetermined temperature  (165\u00b0F-500\u00b0F) and spring the valve to a chosen fail position.<\/p>\n
